“The Encyclopedia of High Performance Motorcycle Riding Techniques” is the replacement book for My First Book “Introduction of Motorcycle Road Racing” which was originally written for my racing school. While “The Encyclopedia” still contains the same basic core material. Everything from basic racing lines, throttle control, proper gear selection, crash avoidance and trail braking in the turns, just to mention a few, are covered in this book. This incarnation has been expanded to a complete and thorough explanation of all the material necessary to improve lap times and general racing ability. The basic science and dynamics of these techniques are also covered to give a complete overview of each topic. The subjects are covered comprehensively and in detail with abundant use of color diagrams and graphics to make everything as clear and as easy as possible to visualize. The information in this book has been compiled over 50 years of my involvement in motorcycle road racing. It is also the main textbook used in the "Ed Bargy Racing Schools". The techniques discussed here are based on personal, hands on experience and the well-known, sound, and accepted laws of physics and engineering principles.This book not only covers “How to” but, also delves into “Why and When, the Techniques Work” plus some of the true science behind them.
